Kerryon Johnson not guaranteed more touches for Lions
Detroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson is getting enough work, believes head coach Matt Patricia.
Johnson logged a season-high 18 touches in a Week 3 win, but that number dipped to 10 in a Week 4 loss. His 20 snaps on Sunday were also fewer than Theo Riddick (25) and only marginally more than LeGarrette Blount (14). Patricia referred to the workload as "quite a bit of reps" and insisted the Lions "have a really good strong running-back group." It sounds like Johnson will remain mired in a committee versus the Green Bay Packers in Week 5.
Johnson is currently the RB25 in numberFire's Week 5 fantasy rankings, and our models project him to score 10.2 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,100.
