Chargers' Philip Rivers struggles but tosses 3 touchdowns in Week 4
Los Angeles Chargers Philip Rivers threw for just 250 yards but added 3 touchdowns in Week 4's win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Rivers day got off to a rough start as he tossed a pick-six on the Chargers first drive. He continued to struggle most of the day, averaging just 6.4 yards per attempt. When the offense got close to the end zone, Rivers was at his best, firing two short-yardage touchdowns to Antonio Gates and Melvin Gordon. Austin Ekeler added the third, taking a screen pass to the house for a 22-yard score.
Rivers scored 22.7 FanDuel points, barely surpassing our projection of 22.1 points for Week 4.
