Egor Koulechov will not return to Rice next season
Rice Owls junior guard Egor Koulechov has decided to not return to the school for his final year of eligibility, per Jeff Borzello of ESPN.
What It Means:
Koulechov has not decided if he will transfer to another school and finish his college career or if he will turn pro by entering the NBA Draft or going overseas. A native of Russia, Koulechov would likely not be drafted in the NBA and could have more opportunities playing in Europe.
Koulechove averaged 18.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.3 three-pointers per game as a junior.
