Arizona's Rawle Alkins will play through a finger injury on thursday

Arizona Wildcats freshman forward Rawle Alkins (finger) will play on Thursday versus the Xavier Musketeers in the Sweet Sixteen, per Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports.

What It Means:

Alkins reportedly broke and dislocated his right index finger in the Wildcats' win over the St. Mary's Gaels. He left for a brief period before returning with the finger taped. Alkins says the finger is sore, but he should be good to go on Thursday.

Alkins has started 35 games for Arizona this year, averaging 11.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 three-pointers per game.
