Bronson Koenig drops 27 points in Wisconsin's loss to Ohio State
Wisconsin Badgers senior guard Bronson Koenig scored a season-high 27 points with five 3-pointers in Thursday's loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
What It Means:
Koenig benefited from fellow starters Nigel Hayes and Ethan Happ being in foul trouble most of the game, leading to a team-high 15 shot attempts from the floor. It was his eighth 20-plus point game of they year and first in nearly a month.
Koenig is averaging 13.8 points and 2.6 three-pointers per game while shooting 38.3 percent from beyond the arc this season.
