Iman Shumpert re-signs with Cleveland
The Cleveland Cavaliers have re-signed Iman Shumpert to a four-year, $40M contract.
What It Means:
Shumpert was an important part of the Cavaliers' NBA Finals run, hitting timely three-points and playing stifling defense. More importantly, Lebron reportedly loves what "Shump" brings to the team. Shumpert will likely start for the Cavaliers next season. With this signing, as well as the signings of Love and Thompson today, Lebron's new contract should be signed shortly. Don't expect J.R. Smith to return.
