Channing Frye agrees to one-year deal with Cleveland
Free agent forward/center Channing Frye has agreed to a one-year, $2.4 million deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, per Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports.
Frye is returning to Cleveland, where he spent 2 1/2 years before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers at the trade deadline. He brings a veteran presence and some outside shooting as Cleveland regroups from Lebron James' departure.
Frye averaged 5.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in 131 minutes per game on 49.1% shooting from the field last season.
