JaVale McGee signs with Lakers on one-year deal
Center JaVale McGee and the Los Angeles Lakers have agreed on a one-year deal, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes.
McGee became the latest domino to fall to Los Angeles after the LeBron James signing. Despite playing very limited minutes for the Warriors last year, McGee put up good numbers. He averaged 18.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 3.3 blocks per-36 minutes in the regular season.
McGee averaged 4.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks across 9.5 minutes per game last year. He posted a .621 effective field goal percentage, and his nERD of 3.3 ranked him 53rd among all players in 2017-18.
