Pelicans waive Nate Robinson on Thursday
The New Orleans Pelicans waived guard Nate Robinson on Thursday.
Robinson signed a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum with the Pelicans coming into this season, and he made it all of two games with the team. With Jrue Holiday returning to the starting lineup and Ish Smith playing better than Robinson, he became expendable.
Robinson played 23 minutes over his 2 games with the Pelicans, failing to score a point and dishing out 4 assists. Smith, on the other hand, has scored 24 points with 17 assists in 67 minutes over the Pelicans' first two games. Robinson is a non-factor in fantasy.
