Derrick Rose scores 16 points for Timberwolves in Game 1
Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose scored 16 points (7-of-14 field goals, 1-of-2 3-pointers) with 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 turnovers in 24.0 minutes of Sunday's 104-101 loss to the Houston Rockets.
The additional minutes were a surprise after Rose averaged just 12.4 in nine games with the Timberwolves during the regular season, but the veteran didn't disappoint off the bench as he scored more than 14 points for the first time since November 3.
Rose scored 22.4 FanDuel points in Game 1, significantly out-performing numberFire's projection of 1.4 FanDuel points.
