Miami starts Rodney McGruder for first time this season to fill void for Goran Dragic (ankle) on Wednesday
Miami Heat shooting guard Rodney McGruder is starting on Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks.
What It Means:
McGruder will join Tyler Johnson, Josh Richardson, Luke Babbitt, and Hassan Whiteside in the starting lineup for Miami. It's the first start of the season for the 26-year-old sophomore. Goran Dragic (ankle), Dwyane Wade (wrist), and James Johnson are all being given the night off in the second half of the back-to-back set as they to minor injuries.
