Blazers' Ed Davis (ankle) hoping to return in a week
Portland Trail Blazers forward/center Ed Davis (right ankle) said he intends to return to action either April 8th or April 9th.
Davis has not been in a boot and has no limp, but his right ankle is still very swollen. His optimism means nothing until he is officially re-evaluated by the team. The Blazers will likely be cautious with him so he doesn't re-injure the joint ahead of their playoff run. Zach Collins will continue to take on a larger role behind Jusuf Nurkic until Davis is cleared to return.
Davis averaged 14.6 FanDuel points and 16.4 minutes per game in his last three games prior to the injury.
