Grizzlies' Marc Gasol (rest) not expected to play Saturday
Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol is expected to sit out Saturday's game against the Dallas Mavericks.
Gasol played 32 minutes on Friday night so the Grizzlies will probably take it easy on him without a night between games. There's no reason for Memphis to play him in back-to-backs, especially against a Mavericks team in a similar spot to them in the hunt for a top draft pick. If Gasol's out, Deyonta Davis, Ivan Rabb and JaMychal Green could all play more minutes at center.
Averaging 36.9 FanDuel points on the year, Gasol put up 44.2 in Friday's loss to the Utah Jazz. He's projected for 37.1 FD points in a matchup with the Bucks on Monday.
