Wilson Chandler (hip) ruled out for Nuggets on Friday
Denver Nuggets guard/forward Wilson Chandler (right hip soreness) will not play on Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Chandler went 1-for-8 and scored just 3 points in 36 minutes on Tuesday, so perhaps his hip factored into the poor performance. This doesn't sound like a long-term issue, but it's worth noting that Chandler missed an entire season because of a previous hip injury, so the Nuggets probably won't rush things. Will Barton is expected to start in Chandler's place.
Chandler is averaging 20.9 FanDuel points per game this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 10.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.
