Nik Stauskas (tibia) could be out two more weeks for 76ers
Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown said that guard Nik Stauskas (right tibia stress reaction) could be out for another two weeks.
Stauskas has maintained that he'll be ready for the season opener, and while this timeline would fit that assertion, he'll be cutting it close. Stauskas may not be able to participate in preseason games, so don't expect the team to toss him to the wolves for his team debut.
Stauaskas's rookie campaign didn't go well, as he finished with a -3.7 nERD, ranking 115th in the league. That said, he did show improvement over the course of the season. His Offensive Rating was 92 before the All-Star break, but it shot up to 104 after. The 76ers' back court is swimming in injuries, so they'll need Stauskas back as soon as possible.
