76ers' Markelle Fultz (shoulder) could be shut down for rest of season
Philadelphia 76ers general manager Bryan Colangelo said on Friday that guard Markelle Fultz (shoulder) may return soon, but that "there is a chance" that he will not play again this season.
What It Means:
Colengelo said, "There's always a chance that he's going to be out there soon, and there's a chance that he's not gonna play this year. I can't answer that question because we don't know the answer to that." While it's unclear how serious the 76ers are about shutting Fultz down for the season, this isn't an encouraging quote that he will see the court any time soon.
Fultz has appeared in just four games this season, averaging 12.6 FanDuel points.
