Lakers sending Jordan Clarkson to Cavs in deadline deal
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Los Angeles Lakers have traded guard Jordan Clarkson to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Forward Larry Nance joins Clarkson as he heads to Cleveland. On the other side of the trade, Isaiah Thomas and Channing Frye will land in Los Angeles along with the Cavaliers' own first-round pick. The pick is reportedly protected, but to what extent is unknown. For Clarkson, he could in line to start ahead of Jose Calderon and Derrick Rose.
Through 53 games this season -- including 2 starts -- Clarkson is averaging 14.5 points, 3.3 assists and 3.0 rebounds over 23.7 minutes per game.
