Greg Monroe yet to officially sign with Celtics
Free agent center Greg Monroe has yet to officially sign with the team, according to USA Today's Jared Weiss.
Though it appears there is an agreement of some sort in place, the Celtics aren't expected to officially sign Monroe until after Thursday's trade deadline. That would make him unavailable Tuesday and leave Saturday's game as the earliest that Monroe could make his debut. Until then, Al Horford, Aron Baynes and Marcus Morris will continue with their usual roles in the frontcourt.
Our models project Monroe to average 9.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 23.3 minutes per game the rest of the year.
