Suns' Isaiah Canaan (ankle) officially ruled out for remainder of season

According to azcentral sports' Scott Bordow, Phoenix Suns point guard Isaiah Canaan underwent surgery on Thursday and will miss the rest of the 2017-18 season.

What It Means:

After suffering a gruesome injury on Wednesday night, Canaan was diagnosed with a fractured left ankle. He underwent surgery to repair it and is expected to be ready in time for training camp. Tyler Ulis and Devin Booker are likely to handle the majority of point guard duties going forward.
