Pistons' Reggie Jackson (ankle) out of walking boot, could be cleared in 2-3 weeks
The Detroit News' Rod Beard reports that Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson is no longer wearing a walking boot and could be cleared for basketball activity in 2-to-3 weeks.
While Jackson is set to be cleared for basketball activity in the coming weeks, whether he's able to play is another thing. He could return around the All-Star break, but if the Pistons continue to fall they might not be in a hurry to rush him back. Until he comes back, Ish Smith and Langston Galloway will continue to hold down the point guard spot.
numberFire's models project Jackson to tally 14.5 points, 5.2 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game in 20 games the rest of the season.
