Nets rule out D'Angelo Russell (knee) for Wednesday
Brooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Russell has been going through 5-on-5 scrimmages at G-League practices, and head coach Kenny Atkinson has said that he wants Russell to get in at least one practice with the Nets before returning to game action, so it's not a surprise he won't suit up here. Spencer Dinwiddie will continue to start at the point.
Accounting for him suiting up on Friday, numberFire's models project Russell for 20.3 points, 5.6 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 29.3 minutes of action in a return to action against the Miami Heat.
