Heat's Dion Waiters (ankle) out on Sunday, remains without a timetable for return
Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters (ankle) will not play on Sunday and currently has no timetable to return to action.
Waiters last played on December 22 and has been dealing with a severely sprained ankle. The guard has been advised he needs surgery but has opted to try and postponed the procedure until the offseason. It is unclear when he is expected to play again. Tyler Johnson will remain in the starting lineup with Wayne Ellington seeing extra minutes off the bench with Waiters out.
Waiters has averaged 14.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 23.7 FanDuel points per game this season.
