Miami's Dion Waiters (ankle) to remain out Friday night
Miami Heat guard/forward Dion Waiters will not play on Friday, reports Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.
Waiters will miss his sixth straight game against the New York Knicks. His nagging ankle injury has really dealt a blow to his and Miami's 2017-18 season. It seems like he'll continue to work his way back and put off surgery. In the meantime, though, Josh Richardson, Wayne Ellington and Tyler Johnson will log heavy minutes with both Waiters and Justise Winslow (knee) out.
Waiters is averaging 23.7 FanDuel points with 14.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game in 30 games this season.
