Jake Layman starting for Portland with Damian Lillard sidelined on Friday
Portland Trail Blazers forward Jake Layman is getting a surprise start on Friday night.
What It Means:
Instead of plugging in Shabazz Napier in for Damian Lillard, coach Terry Stotts has decided to shift C.J. Mccollum to the point with Evan Turner at the "2" and Layman starting at small forward.
Layman has averaged just 6.4 minutes per game this season.
