Rockets rule out Chris Paul (groin) for Friday
Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul (groin) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Paul suffered a groin injury in Wednesday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, and while it has been described as just "soreness", being ruled out this early has it looking like he might miss more than one game with the issue. Look for James Harden to see increased usage in Paul's absence, while Eric Gordon's role on offense stands to increase significantly as well.
numberFire's models project Paul for 23.1 points, 7.7 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 34.2 minutes per game over the remainder of the season.
