Corey Brewer

Corey Brewer plays 25 minutes, scores 21 in Lakers' win over Houston

Los Angeles Lakers guard/forward Corey Brewer emerged from his season-long slumber to put up 21 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals before fouling out in 25 minutes of action in Wednesday's win over the Houston Rockets.

What It Means:

Brewer hasn't played more than 15 minutes in a game since October, and hasn't scored more than 15 points since March 2016. He got this increased run with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope not playing, and with KCP expected to miss the Lakers' next two road games, Brewer should keep getting some decent run.

Brewer's season-long value is virtually non-existent, and numberFire's models project him for 3.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 13.9 minutes per game over the remainder of the season.
