Nets mum on whether Jahlil Okafor will make debut Tuesday night
Brooklyn Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson suggested that center Jahlil Okafor might not play on Tuesday, reports Philly.com's Sarah Todd.
Atkinson said that the newly-acquired will have to earn minutes and that he and guard Nik Stauskas will gradually be worked back into the fold in Brooklyn. But Brooklyn said, "never say never" as it pertains to whether the team's two acquisitions will make their debut on Tuesday. Tyler Zeller and Jarrett Allen are also vying for minutes at center, with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson also playing some smallball five.
As for our models, they project Okafor to log 23.8 minutes and turn out 24.2 FanDuel points against the Washington Wizards. He comes at $5,200 on Tuesday's slate.
