Anthony Davis (adductor) remains out for Pelicans on Wednesday night
New Orleans Pelicans forward/center Anthony Davis (left adductor strain) will not play against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night.
This will be Davis' third straight absence, and head coach Alvin Gentry said the Pelican's All-NBA big man won't return until he's back to 100 percent. Dante Cunningham is expected to draw another start tonight versus Denver. That should also mean more opportunities on offense for DeMarcus Cousins, as well as Jrue Holiday, Rajon Rondo, and E'Twaun Moore.
Davis is averaging 48.9 FanDuel points across 21 games this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 23.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.9 steals, 2.1 blocks, and 2.4 turnovers per game.
