Stephen Curry (ankle) reportedly ruled out for Warriors on Wednesday
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Charlotte Hornets, reports Chris Hayes of ESPN.
Curry was spotted on crutches and in a walking boot after spraining his right ankle late in Monday night's win over the New Orleans Pelicans, so this doesn't come as any surprise. X-rays came back negative but the MRI results should provide owners with a sense of a timeline for Curry's return. Shaun Livingston will likely draw the start on Wednesday for Golden State.
Curry is averaging 45.1 FanDuel points in 23 games this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 26.2 points, 3.5 3-pointers, 4.9 rebounds, 7.4 assists, 1.9 steals, and 3.3 turnovers per game on a 46.8 field goal percentage and 40.5 3-point clip.
