Blazers clear Al-Farouq Aminu for more minutes
Portland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu has been cleared to play "30-something," minutes for the Blazers, but it's unclear if/when he'll return to the starting lineup.
"As I’ve said before, there’s a chance that he’ll start eventually," coach Terry Stotts said about Aminu. "But no decision has been made now." Aminu can be a viable fantasy asset if he plays minutes into the 30s, but with a crowded frontcourt for the Blazers, it's hard to predict what Stotts will with Aminu's minutes.
Aminu has played 22 and 26 minutes in his first two games back from injury, averaging 6.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
