Cavaliers' Tyronn Lue: 'Has been positive contact' with Derrick Rose
Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue said that he had "positive contact" with injured (ankle) point guard Derrick Rose.
Lue did not expand on his words to say what that contact was. General manager Koby Altman is expected to speak to the media members directly and may have more on the subject. Rose has been away from the team since suffering an ankle injury over two weeks ago. He's reportedly questioned his future in the game and there's a chance he doesn't report back to the team when healthy. If he does, he would likely start over Jose Calderon until Isaiah Thomas (hip) is healthy enough to play.
Through 7 starts, Rose is averaging 14.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists across 26.9 minutes per game in 2017.
