New Orleans' Anthony Davis (groin) is unlikely to play Saturday against Portland
New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis (groin) is unlikely to play on Saturday versus the Portland Trail Blazers.
Davis left Friday night's loss to the Utah Jazz early with a strained groined and is scheduled to have an MRI in Portland on Saturday. The big man could not put any weight on his leg and left the arena in a wheelchair making it safe to say the oft-injured power forward is looking at a multiple-game absence. Cheick Diallo will see additional minutes while DeMarcus Cousins will assume a more significant role in the offense.
Davis finished with 39.5 FanDuel points in 32 minutes of action on Friday.
