Charlotte's Michael Carter-Williams will start with Kemba Walker (shoulder) ruled out

The Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell confirms that Charlotte Hornets guard Michael Carter-Williams will start in place of the injured Kemba Walker on Wednesday.

What It Means:

Carter-Williams has played in just five games this season, but he has more game experience than the alternatives, Malik Monk and Julyan Stone (hamstring). While Monk and Stone should both see some minutes behind MCW, Nicolas Batum's in line to be the main playmaker on the offensive end for Charlotte.

Our models project Carter-Williams to produce 10.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists across 30.5 minutes versus the Toronto Raptors. He comes at a price of $5,200 on Wednesday night.
