Cavaliers would reportedly 'consider' DeAndre Jordan-Tristan Thompson deal
According to Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon, the Cleveland Cavaliers would consider a trade involving Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan.
The deal would involve forward/center Tristan Thompson and maybe even the coveted first-round pick courtesy of the Brooklyn Nets. Earlier this week, the big man's name was brought up as a part of multiple conversation between the Clippers and contending teams looking for help down low. Jordan has a $24.1 player option on his contract next year. As for Thompson, he's currently out for another week or so with a calf injury.
Averaging 10.4 points, 13.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game, Jordan is projected for averages of 11.9 points, 13.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 60 games the rest of the 2017-18 season.
