Kevin Durant (ankle) out for Warriors on Friday night
Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant (left ankle) will not play against the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
Durant will sit on the front end of the back-to-back but should be fine for Saturday's matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans as the Warriors manage his reps due to a minor left ankle issue. With Draymond Green (rest) also out, the void in the rotation should lead to more opportunity for the likes of Andre Iguodala, Jordan Bell, Patrick McCaw, Nick Young, and Omri Casspi.
Durant is averaging 44.6 FanDuel points across 16 games this season. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to turn in 25.1 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.9 3-pointers, 1.3 steals, 1.2 blocks, and 2.1 turnovers per game on 51.0 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from deep.
