Clippers' Patrick Beverley (knee) undergoes surgery, timetable uncertain
Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley underwent surgery on his right knee on Wednesday, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Beverley has been dealing with a knee issue and only recently returned for Monday's game. He was limited to 22 minutes and apparently re-aggravated the injury. He was sent back to Los Angeles, where he underwent surgery. But, for now, he is out indefinitely, which leaves substantial minutes for Lou Williams, Austin Rivers and Jawun Evans.
Averaging 12.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists a game, Beverley is projected to average 10.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists over the remainder of the 2017-18 season.
