Pelicans' Anthony Davis suffers concussion on Friday night
New Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis left Friday's game with a concussion, reports Pelicans.com's Jim Eichenhofer.
Davis went to the locker room early in the third quarter after bumping heads with the Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic. He was evaluated and diagnosed with a concussion, so he didn't return. It's likely that Davis misses at least one game, allowing Dante Cunningham and Cheick Diallo to split time at power forward.
Over 21 minutes, Davis produced 17 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal as the Pelicans went down 146-114 on Friday night.
