Cavaliers' Derrick Rose (ankle) out Friday, at least two more weeks
Cleveland Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said that point guard Derrick Rose will not play on Friday and will miss "at least the next weeks," per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
Rose has already missed four games with an ankle injury, but the Cavaliers are playing it safe. They'll want to have a healthy Rose for depth purposes later in the season. In the meantime, Iman Shumpert should continue to start with LeBron James as the team's official point guard for the foreseeable future.
Rose was projected for 21.6 FanDuel points prior to being ruled out this evening. Our models have him pegged for 22.6 minutes, 13.4 points and 3.8 assists per game over the rest of the season.
