Celtics' Kyrie Irving (face) to wear mask for two weeks upon return
Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving will play two weeks with a mask, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Irving suffered a facial fracture on Friday and will sit out Sunday's game. However, it sounds like he'll return on Tuesday and play with a fitted mask until his injury is sufficiently healed. Until he does so, Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier figure to see heavy minutes in the Boston backcourt.
Averaging 36.7 FanDuel points per game, Irving is projected for 39.1 FD points in what's likely to be his first masked showing against the Brooklyn Nets.
