Orlando's Elfrid Payton to 'give it a go' on Friday night

Orlando Magic head coach Frank Vogel said point guard Elfrid Payton is "gonna give it a go" on Friday against the Phoenix Suns.

What It Means:

Vogel noted that Payton's dealing with a lot of soreness in his injured hamstring. Nevertheless, he's expected to play in his second game in three days. He will be backed up by Shelvin Mack, who could also see extra minutes if the team's starting floor general is limited at all.

Projected for 14.5 points, 7.8 assists and 4.4 rebounds across 32.2 minutes, Payton is expected to produce 35.8 FanDuel points at his $8,100 price tag.
