Cavaliers' Jeff Green puts up 20-point second quarter on Thursday
Jeff Green used a 20-point second quarter to power him to a 27-point effort for the Cavaliers against the Rockets on Thursday night.
Green finished the night 11-for-15 from the field and added five rebounds, two assists and three steals in nearly 38 minutes of playing time. The nine-year veteran scored 20 points in a game just once all season last year with the Magic. Thursday’s loss to the Rockets was the first game for Cavaliers that Green was on the floor for more than 30 minutes, which may change if he keeps rolling.
Our models project Green to come back to earth some against Dallas on Saturday. Currently, we have him down for 14.4 FanDuel points with 7.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
