Minnesota's Jimmy Butler (illness) 'should be a go' Friday against Oklahoma City
Minnesota Timberwolves coach Tom Thibodeau said guard/forward Jimmy Butler is "feeling better" and that he "should be a go," reports The Athletic's Tim Faklis.
According to Faklis, Butler didn't sound like he's 100% but was adamant about him playing without a minutes restriction. Butler had missed the Timberwolves' last two games with an upper respiratory issue. His presence will limit Jamal Crawford and Nemanja Bjelica's minutes on Friday.
Facing the same Oklahoma City Thunder team he played less than a week ago, Butler will now do so within the confines of the Target Center. In the matchup, we project him for 42.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $8,300 on tonight's slate.
