Willy Hernangomez the odd man out in Knicks' frontcourt for now
New York Knicks center Willy Hernangomez is the odd man out in the frontcourt rotation for now, according to head coach Jeff Hornacek.
Hernangomez played just 4 minutes in the season opener, the last 4 minutes of the blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder to be precise. Hornecek said Enes Kanter and Kyle O'Quinn had earned their minutes upfront while Hernangomez needs to continue to work. With Joakim Noah coming back in November, the center situation will get even more crowded.
Hernangomez scored 3 points with 1 block and 2 turnovers in 4 minutes on Thursday night.
