Rockets' Chris Paul (knee) ruled out for Saturday's contest
According to the Houston Chronicle's Jonathan Feigen, Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul has been ruled out for Saturday's meeting with the Dallas Mavericks.
What It Means:
Feigen said that Paul's left knee issue is a result of bumping knees with Mario Chalmers in Memphis last Wednesday night. He sat out Wednesday's game after suiting up and struggling through Tuesday's season-opening win against the Golden State Warriors. Eric Gordon will start again in his place as James Harden takes over primary point guard duties.
Paul put up 38.1 FanDuel points on Tuesday and was projected for 44.0 FanDuel points and 34.2 minutes on Saturday against the Mavericks.
