Nuggets' Nikola Jokic asked to get stronger during offseason
Denver Nuggets coach Mike Malone said that he told center Nikola Jokic to work on getting stronger and to being more committed on the defensive end of the floor this offseason.
In addition to those two areas, Malone said he demanded more from him in terms of controlling his emotions as well. Basically, it sounds like he's trying to mold Jokic into the leader he could be as one of the team's best players. In fact, the coach called the 22-year-old "the best young big man in the NBA." He'll look to fulfill those expectations in his third year in Denver.
Projected to average 21.0 points, 11.9 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game, we have Jokic down for 43.8 FanDuel points in his first matchup of the year with the Utah Jazz. He costs $8,700 on tonight's slate.
