Jae Crowder scores 11 points in debut with Cavaliers

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Jae Crowder scored 11 points with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in Tuesday's season-opening win over the Boston Celtics.

What It Means:

Clearly the fourth or fifth option on the offensive end, Crowder made his presence known on the defensive end of the floor. And, after playing 34 minutes against his former team, Crowder may end up leading the team in minutes this season. He'll have to do better than 3-for-10 shooting, though, if he wants to be more of a floor-spacing factor for Cleveland.

At $4,500 on opening night, Crowder was projected for 24 FanDuel points and exceeded that mark by 1. He won't play again until Friday, when Cleveland faces the Milwaukee Bucks on the road. We project him for 27.0 FanDuel points in that one.
