Clippers and DeAndre Jordan in talks for contract extension
The Los Angeles Clippers and center DeAndre Jordan have been in talks on a contract extension.
What It Means:
They are still reportedly not close on reaching a deal, and Jordan has said that they "had discussions, but obviously nothing has gotten done." The 29 year old is expected to decline his $24.1 million player option for the 2018-19 season.
numberFire's models project Jordan for 11.5 points, 13.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 31.0 minutes per game this season. We also project him for 36.3 FanDuel points in 31.0 minutes in Thursday's season-opener against the Los Angeles Lakers.
