Spurs rule out Kawhi Leonard (ankle) for Game 3
San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said that forward Kawhi Leonard (ankle) will not play in Game 3 against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
With Leonard out again, Jonathon Simmons will have to step up and play big minutes offensively and on defense against Kevin Durant. LaMarcus Aldridge will be the main option on offense, while Patty Mills and Pau Gasol should also see some increased usage.
Our models project Simmons for 13.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.3 steals over 36.8 minutes in Game 3.
