Boston Celtics win the NBA Draft Lottery
The Boston Celtics have won the NBA Draft Lottery and will make the first pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Technically the Brooklyn Nets won the lottery, but the Celtics own the right to swap first-round picks with the Nets. They will now have their choice between unanimous top-two prospects Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball. The Los Angeles Lakers will pick second with the Philadelphia 76ers selecting third.
The Celtics had a 25 percent chance of winning the first overall pick.
