Charlotte's Miles Plumlee undergoes arthroscopic knee surgery

Charlotte Hornets center Miles Plumlee went underwent successful surgery on his right knee on Tuesday.

What It Means:

The procedure was an arthroscopic debridement, essentially cleaning out the knee. It's not anything serious, with a 6-8 week timetable for return, and it shouldn't cause him to miss training camp or anytime next season.

Plumlee averaged 2.4 points and 3.2 rebounds over 13.4 minutes in the 13 games he played after being acquired by the Hornets this season. His -1.1 nERD ranked only 308th in the NBA.
